Etc Is The New Etc is a vinyl text installation available as an edition of 100. It consists of a collection of phrases 15 metres long that look at the transitory nature of life, culture, fashion and experience. The phrases are self contained and can be cut and applied individually, in groups or as a single wall based text work. The adaptability of the presentation relates to the installation of the work around a domestic home, place of work or place of study. Suggested venues being galleries, in door social spaces, lobbies or meeting rooms. For example: The text could run along skirting boards to contextualise the building, applied to windows and walls or deconstructed and re-appropriated as single phrases and placed across a larger area. The owner becomes curator. It is intended that the edition has flexibility and space for creative application as part of its reason for existing and engagement is developed through the owner applying the work themselves.

The work is supplied in a tube, signed by the artist and a COA Certificate of Authenticity indicating the edition number.

The edition is £150.00 for Individual collectors. (+ shipping)

For Galleries. Museums and Organisations the edition is £300.00 and includes additional materials; Press Release, Gallery Text, Press Images and copyright information. The artist will be available to advise of how the work is configured in a public setting.
